Nature's picturesque scenery
Hatenohama is one of the most secluded places in Japan, located 5km east of Kume Island. This white sandy island is admired as the most beautiful in the East.
The best white sandy beach on Kume Island, 2km long Eef Beach is only a 10-second walk from the hotel lobby.
A 25-minute drive from Kumejima Airport, or a 15-minute drive from the ferry terminal. There are many local restaurants and bars near the hotel.
From Naha Airport, a 35-minute flight on either Japan Transocean Air or Ryukyu Air Commuter to Kumejima Airport. From the airport to the hotel is approximately 25 minutes by taxi or rental car, or 30 minutes by Kumejima Town bus.
From Naha Airport, 4 hours on New Kumejima Ferry to Kumejima Kanegusuku Port. From the port to the hotel is approximately 15 minutes by taxi or rental car, or 20 minutes by Kumejima Town bus.
Hatenohama is an island surrounded by white sand and is admired as the most beautiful in the East. It is located east of Kume Island. Hatenohama is a must-see spot when you visit Kume Island.
Its scale is overwhelming. Unusually shaped rock that only nature could create. Women visit Mifuga Rock and pray for fertility.
These odd-shaped rocks resemble turtle shells, and were created by lava splintering into the rocks then cooled down. View of the sea from this spot is magnificent. (Nationally Designated Natural Monument)
Uegusukujo Castle Ruin
At the highest elevation of Kume Island sits Uegusukujo Castle Ruin. The 360° view of the island is overwhelming.
